Sony SAB’s Aladdin and Yasmine visits ‘Dil walon ki Dilli’


Delhi, September 11, 2018: Sony SAB’s Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga’s lead cast Siddharth Nigam (Aladdin) and Avneet Kaur (Yasmine) are visiting the capital city of India – Delhi on Tuesday, 11th September 2018. Popular for its unforgettable food in quaint joints and era defining architecture, the capital city has a huge fan base for the show and its characters.



Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga is based on the traditional story of Aladdin with a contemporary twist, featuring actors who have gotten under the skin of their characters. Replete with drama, fantasy and a larger than life feel, Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga is a show that is surely delivering Sony SAB’s promise of happiness. The show also features pivotal characters such as the evil wazir, Zafar (Aamir Dalvi), the selfish Chacha (Badrul Islam) and Chachi (Gulfam Khan), Yasmine’s parents Sultan Shahnawaz (Gyan Prakash) and Sultana (Yashu Dhiman) and Genie (Raashul Tandon)

Recently, we saw that Aladdin decides to give the lamp to Zafar and on his way, he meets Yasmine who is dressed as ‘Kala Chor’. When Aladdin reaches Zafar, he realizes that the chirag in his bag had gotten exchanged with Yasmine’s, when they met. Will Zafar believe Aladdin? Will Aladdin survive Zafar's wrath?

Speaking about their visit to the city, Siddharth Nigam, who plays the role of Aladdin in the show, commented, “I was born and brought up in UP. Every person who hails from this state is sure to visit Delhi. We used to visit this city during our school vacations and visiting it again, as an actor, is a privilege. I look forward to taking some time out and visiting the famous ‘paranthe wali gali’ here.”


Avneet Kaur who portrays the character of Yasmine on the show, said, “I have never been to Delhi for any of my shows. I would like to thank Sony SAB and Aladdin for giving me an opportunity to visit this city. We have a huge fan following here that makes our visit all the more exciting. If I get time out of our schedule, I would love to get my hands on Chhole Kulche & momos and also visit India Gate.”
